“By Heart” Study Week Four

Here we are at week four of our “By Heart” Study, chapter three, pages 99 through 122. There are three focuses in “By Heart”, they are:

1. Scriptures and Tradition.
2. Luther’s Explanations.
3. The “backstory”.

We will begin with prayer, then we will recite a portion of the Small Catechism (pages 207- 222 of your textbook), then we will watch a short video, followed by small group discussion and teaching.

On our fourth week we will recite together The Lord’s Prayer and explanation which can be found on page 214 of your textbook.
