“Injustice anywhere threatens justice everywhere.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Justice Ministry of The Community Church seeks to follow the call in Micah 6:8, “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and walk humbly with your God.”
Mission Statement: We believe that all people are created in the image of God and deserve respect, care, and dignity. We strive to be a compassionate presence to those who experience injustice in our community and to influence local social structures that are consistent with the Gospel.
The Community Church Justice Ministry is active in ongoing work with partnering congregations associated with Lee Interfaith For Empowerment (LIFE).
There are many opportunities for you to join a team or event. Justice Ministry events for 2025 will be listed on our events calendar.
